Umeda Hotels: Location, Access and Tips
Umeda is Osaka's largest rail hub, with JR Osaka, Hankyu and Hanshin Osaka-Umeda, and the Osaka Metro Umeda, Higashi-Umeda and Nishi-Umeda stations, used by about 2.4 million people a day combined. Grand Front Osaka connects to the station.
Getting there
JR limited express Haruka from Kansai Airport stops at Osaka Station's underground Umekita platform (opened March 2023). Highway buses to Arima Onsen leave from Hankyu Umeda.

Watch out for
- The underground network is nicknamed 'Umeda Dungeon'; finding exits can take time.
- Namba and Dotonbori nightlife are a subway ride away, not walking distance.
