Tenjin Hotels: Location, Access and Tips
Tenjin is Fukuoka's main shopping district, built around the Tenjin Underground Mall (about 600 m, around 150 shops, opened 1976), which links three stations. The Nakasu entertainment island and its riverside food stalls lie between Tenjin and Hakata.
Getting there
The subway Airport Line runs from Fukuoka Airport via Hakata, Gion and Nakasu-Kawabata to Tenjin, about 10 minutes from the airport. Tenjin also has Tenjin-Minami (Nanakuma Line) and Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station.
