Nagoya Castle
Castle grounds with the reconstructed Honmaru Palace. The main keep has been closed for seismic reasons and cannot be entered.

Nagoya City Science Museum
Science museum with hands-on exhibits and a large planetarium.

- Mondays: the Tokugawa Art Museum, Toyota museum, science museum and Noritake Garden's museum are closed. Tuesdays: the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is closed.
- Nagoya Castle's main keep is closed; you can visit the grounds and the Honmaru Palace.
- The Nagoya City Science Museum raises its fees from October 1, 2026.
- The Me~guru sightseeing loop bus departs from Nagoya Station bus terminal platform 11 and stops at the Toyota museum.

Can you go inside Nagoya Castle's keep?
No. The keep is closed because of low seismic resistance. The grounds and the Honmaru Palace are open (adult ¥500).
How do I get to the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park?
Take the Aonami Line from Nagoya Station to Kinjo Futo (24 min), then walk about 2 minutes.
Which day is best to avoid closures?
Wednesday to Sunday. Many museums close on Mondays and the railway museum closes on Tuesdays.
